At the stroke of mid-night hour of 14th-august 1947, a country started the process to give the world its biggest democracy which is the 7th largest land mass (after unification of states for years).
fast forward to the 90s , the great democracy which was intended to keep everyone unified has failed and t failed so harshly that it became a show for the whole world because the governments were changing at the rate that even john cena cant match to change his shirt.
the core idea was to give each and every individual a liberty which no country and government can give. The leaders wanted that such a diverse country ,which differs on moving every 50 KM on the basis of language,food,race,caste,religion, and living style, to be unified and work together development. for this purpose a constitution was written for every scenario and every way was laid so that every individual gets his/her freedom without disturbing others.
the ideal democracy and the ideal country lost its core value and intention with the very moment when it gained freedom from British because it lost the reason for which they unified for and broke again.those who realized this the very moment they acted and started working for their personal gains. and the very first person was Jawahar Lal Nehru who started chain of back stabbing to the people who trusted him. less freedom was given to the state governments because he had respect in everyone's eye so everyone remained silent and the break of democracy started. as in junior classes we have read the statement that democracy is" a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives". because of no opposition Nehru kept on winning elections but his popularity started decreasing and opposition increased,however it was still a democratic method of election officially.
different rules and regulations kept on coming in order to realize the citizens that they are in a democracy by the leaders who initially believed in making a great country ad not thinking of lok sabha elections . as time passed a tyrant woman named Indira Gandhi became the head of the country starting a row of decision which converged the power in the hands of a particular family which has't lost it yet. from their she carried on the destruction of democracy at a rate on which her father even never went. her action came to an end when she was assassinated by a person who suffered from her democracy demolishing actions and assassinated her for what she in did in golden temple with the faith of a particular religion.
the tug-of war was between congress and other parties who wanted to make sure they get the power and could get key ministries ,the communist parties started playing game by supporting any party and withdrawing its support a week later in order to make others a matter of joke. here came the real face of the parties which they hided for years. all they wanted was fame and showoff power , no one thought of the citizens who elected them. no care for democracy, making the joke of millions of people who died for freedom. all they wanted was to satisfy the ego of some uneducated goon turned politicians. democracy and the constitution was shameful of itself , the soul of freedom fight crying in grief by the action of the people who destroyed the seed of democracy they sowed in the hope that it will became a tree which will shelter others.but their aims were shattered by the scavenger politicians who fed on the body laid down for democracy.
fast forward to 2000 a stable government with uneducated corrupt politician of allied parties came to power with the visionary who wanted to shape the nation but didn't had specific goals for democracy,Atal vihari bajpayee came to power. the government laid many rules for development but little for democracy, as a matter of fact the lied parties were breaking all the res,capturing poll booths, fake votes and everything in order to retain power, but since they provided a stability nothing was said against them and the massacre of the remains of democracy continued . the Hindutva took over secularism that was promised to every citizen and groups like RSS and VHP started harassing people of minority on a different whole new level. religious fight kept on breaking and as a result numerous people were killed bluntly in Godhara in 2002 . every death which took place burnt the fire of r more and more violence and this brawl never ended making the democracy a theory which was lost again.
by now everyone forgot the thing called as democracy , it became a element of paper which no one discussed and no one cared about. even by now everyone forgot that what was the main goal their ancestors fought and died for, they didn't died for Ram Mandir, or Islam , or Hindutva, or BJP , or congress , they died for democracy and not for the thugs of INDIA . all the dreams ere shattered and under the next government everything kept on degrading. corruption became a day -today life activity, murder and rapes were common , forceful chang
e of religion, arrest of media man, raid only on politician, murder of leader who spoke against big leaders the goal of democracy was lost and shatter and only thing which ruled was a three letter word BAN, it simply meant people can't chose what they like anymore, songs were banned ,abusive videos of AIB were removed, hindutva were killing people for killing cows and not worshiping hindu gods, same was done by muslims and christian. people weren't given the choice to see what they want , be it religious text or porn, the reason is still unknown that why such things were done , because everyone must have opportunity to decide what to hat to watch.
freedom of choice assassinated by banning videos which had abusive words or ant-congress , beef ban was a death of freedom of chic of food, liquor ban a assassination o freedom of choice to consume what we want. the government must think of giving people choice and not tell people that what it has done for the gains of few politicians are for the good of people. we need a government who should give us freedom and not a mother who ells us that she paste her decision on us because is good for us and we don't even know how good it is.
after this came a man who destroyed democracy in every way possible way left not even leaving remains for others to destroy. media people were fired because they spoke against action of government, NGOs were banned,politicians were sold, the party which had the highest seat was kept away for government and the BJP formed government where they didn't have sufficient seats, different laws which were sanctioned for transparency were removed judges were fired , demonetization is the biggest example of failure pf government, a person with 31 cases became chief minister and a person who shared a post against on facebook was arrested, JNU students were called anti-national, everyone who spoke against this tyrant government was given the term anti-national Journalist like Gauri lankesh was killed and her death was celebrated by politicians, supreme court diluted law on SC/ST law it was changed back so no political loss could be suffered in next elections.
people have now forgot the meaning of democracy , they don't let anyone speak against the leader of their choice for this they kill others and even dare to continue, they chose leader on the basis of religion and not a legitimate government, the government is just a matter of show power and not to work for people. they don't want development or democracy any more all they want is to show off power in political and credit goes to MODI for this death and losing of democracy .
when you speak against a party or person you are beaten road ,shot by arrow,jailed in fake charges,and abused publicly. where is the democracy in these action? where has it gone?
will it be back ? are the question we can dare to imagine after this tyrant vacant his office not before it because this tyrant has eliminated the chance of democracy. may we have our democracy back.
were court and not media give its verdict and call people anti-national, where the party members who threaten to kill actors go to jail and not a person who shared a post, where anyone is allowed to follow religion of his choice and not converted forcefully, where we have liberty to speak what we think and watch what we like.
we must understand religion is useless as compared to democracy , we must realize that if we're bhakt we shouldn't force others to be one. we must realize that nationalism isn't given by BJP or MODI and act accordingly, we must understand that its the time to demolish the people who think that using JAI hind is for likes of facebook and votes in election. if we don't mean it we must not use it and disrespect the people who died for it.
